At Ondibu, we use “raw hair" to describe our products. Raw hair by pure definition is honestly "pure virgin hair."
Virgin definition: not yet touched, used, or exploited.
Virgin Hair definition: Virgin hair is unprocessed human hair, that's 100% pure.
If the hair has undergone any kind of chemical processing such as perms, dyes, stripped of its cuticles, blended with multiple donors, synthetic fibers, animal hair, etc., the hair is no longer raw. Brazilian, Malaysian, Peruvian, Burmese, Lao, Italian, are all manufactured names for selling tactics. The majority of this hair is blended Chinese hair.
The hair industry is currently flooded with all types of hair, that the word “raw” needed to be incorporated to differentiate between real, unprocessed single donor hair--properly, and the cesspool processed virgin hair currently on the market. Real virgin hair/raw hair will come in 3 basic textures; Straight, Wavy, & Curly. Anything else is processed. Body Wave, Kinky Curly, Exotic Curly, Loose, Yaki, and Deep Wave are all examples of treated hair.

OUR BUNDLES ARE MUCH FULLER THAN BUNDLES FROM OTHER BRANDS.
Raw bundles are generally more expensive than standard virgin hair bundles. However, fewer bundles of raw hair are needed to achieve the same look as standard virgin hair. When purchasing from Ondibu, you’ll receive our fuller bundles every time.
OUR HAIR IS HIGH QUALITY AND LONG LASTING.
Ondibu Hair is unprocessed, which means it hasn’t been stripped of its cuticles and coated with chemicals like standard virgin hair. Ondibu hair is more durable and healthier, and with proper care, we have seen our hair last a minimum of 2-3 years and longer.
OUR HAIR IS KEPT IT’S NATURAL HAIR PATTERN, EVEN AFTER BEING WASHED AND CONDITIONED.
Our hair is 100% real and unprocessed, meaning that no chemicals have been used to manipulate the hair from its natural form. Our Indian blowout and Cambodian curly and wavy curly textures are made from steam vapor to achieve their textures but still comprised of raw hair.
After receiving your hair and once the hair has been washed and conditioned, the hair’s natural textures will appear. The bonus to having the original hair pattern not being stripped of its cuticles, the wave/curl pattern doesn’t drop as seen with standard virgin processed hair types.
